Bolivia-->Chile

JG: Long day yesterday getting out of Bolivia. 5am wake-up call followed by the last of our Salt Flat tour. Visited the geysers for sunrise, then a lagoon, border control, a two-hour bus ride, and finally into San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. Decided to do some sandboarding in the afternoon, followed by the sunset and an exhaustion-induced early night. Now we're making our way south into Chile - about an hour away from our 15-hour bus ride to La Serena - not looking forward to it....

The glory days of living cheaply in Bolivia are over, as prices here across the board are similar to home.
